Biblical Scripture (Numbers 13:27)

"And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it."

— Numbers 13:27

The monumental test of faith, vision, and the abundance of the Promised Land.

Grace your home with the ancient resonance of scripture through this richly narrative fine art reproduction of an original oil painting by Israeli artist and Holocaust survivor Beky, capturing the pivotal return of the scouts bearing the legendary cluster of grapes from Eshcol.

The Story & Spiritual Inspiration

Dispatched across the wilderness to scout the land promised to their ancestors, the leaders returned bearing proof of extraordinary abundance—a single cluster of grapes so colossal it required two strong men to carry it on a staff. Yet, alongside this wondrous bounty came a profound test of faith: while fear spoke of insurmountable obstacles, only steadfast belief could perceive the divine promise waiting to be inherited.

Painted in the heart of Israel by master artist Beky, The Spies immortalizes this breathless crossroads of anticipation and destiny:

• The Monumental Harvest: In the center, two sun-bronzed scouts elevate the immense, emerald cluster of grapes upon a wooden staff, a vivid testimony to a land flowing with milk and honey.
• Anticipation and Gathering: Women in vibrant golden and crimson robes emerge from an ancient stone dwelling carrying water jugs, while elders wrapped in traditional prayer mantles observe intently, poised on the precipice of destiny.
• Sacred Soil and Mediterranean Palette: Sun-drenched rolling hills, olive groves, and bound sheaves of golden grain reflect the fertile heritage and agricultural soul of ancient Israel.
• Triumph of Faith Over Fear: An allegorical reminder that the true bounty of life is received by those who hold unyielding faith in the face of uncertainty.
